Venue: St Peter's Church map ![]() Address: High Street, Stockbridge, Hampshire, SO20 6HE Event: VOCES8 - 4pm & 7.30pm - The VOCES8 evening concert is now almost sold out, so we have added an afternoon matinee performance. This event will include tea and cakes available from 3pm outside the church, with the concert starting at 4.00pm and lasting approximately 60 minutes without interval. Details of the programme of music will be released shortly. Probably the most renowned choral ensemble in the UK today, we are delighted that VOCES8 have agreed to visit Stockbridge in 2025, their 20th anniversary year. Touring globally, the group performs an extensive repertory both in its a cappella concerts and in collaborations with leading musicians, orchestras, conductors and soloists. Versatility and a celebration of diverse musical expression are central to the ensemble’s performance and education ethos which is shared both online and in person. Venue: St Peter's Church map ![]() Address: High Street, Stockbridge, Hampshire, SO20 6HE Event: Michael Collins MBE - 7.30pm - One of the foremost clarinetists of his generation, Michael Collins has served as the principal of the Philharmonia Orchestra and London Sinfonietta. Michael performs widely as a soloist and played on over 35 recordings on numerous record labels. He has been an Artist in Residence at the Wigmore Hall which included concerts with Stephen Hough, the Vienna Piano Trio, Leonard Elschenbroich, Michael McHale and the Borodin Quartet. He was was the Principal Conductor of the City of London Sinfonia from 2010 – 2018 and has recently been Artistic Director of London Mozart Players. Venue: St Peter's Church map ![]() Address: High Street, Stockbridge, Hampshire, SO20 6HE Event: Leia Zhu, violin - 7.30pm - Violinist Leia Zhou has performed on stage since the age of 4 and made her debut with the London Symphony Orchestra at the age of 14. In 2024 she made her BBC Proms debut at the Royal Albert Hall in July 2024 and made a debut at Wigmore Hall debut October 2024. BBC Music Magazine’s 2021 Christmas edition named 15 year old Leia as ‘Rising Star’ and she was the youngest musician to be listed in Classic FM’s list of 30 brilliant musicians under the age of 30 compiled for their 30th Anniversary celebrations.
