The Mighty Hump
Modern jazz funk and blues with original material
Hump was formed in 2004 for a one-off garden party of the Whitchurch Amateur Dramatic Society. The line-up included lady clarinet and keyboard players and an eight year old trumpeter. Since then, the Hump has gone through many incarnations, including entering into a Faustian pact with a group of Andover poets, putting on a Jazz and Poetry gig at The Lamb in Andover - that night will be long remembered locally. Heading in a jazz funk direction, the Hump continues to welcome many guest musicians to the line-up.
