Updated Friday 23 August 2013 - A message from the Crispystock team: We have been putting on CRISPYSTOCK and raising money for the HEADWAY charity for 7 years as of this September, long before any of the now so popular events that happen annually and we have always fought to stay true to the original 'Stock'. To feature original bands and artists from the local area and further afield. This year has been a tough year with so many great music events that we have changed the formula for this year. Saturday 14 September 2013: It's FREE entry and its back home at The George so all the money raised can go directly to Headway along with the online donations. Please help us keep this festival alive by making a donation so all the work and time that is put in year in and year out isn't forsaken. www.virginmoneygiving.com/team/crispystock2013. Please help. Without you this event could not happen.

Updated Friday 18 January 2013 - Following the evolution of IN DARKLIGHT into a 3-piece during 2010, brothers Ben & Louis Sellers and Ross Archer continue to develop and expand in the alternative rock genre. This is evident from a succession of original music releases since 2004. Their latest EP, 'Drift' (Dec 2012) excites, portraying new ideas and influences. Frontman Ben's powerful, yet melodic bass lines blend with driving, precisely orchestrated drumming from Louis to create a tight and explosive rhythm section. Adding Ross' creative and distinctive guitar work to Ben's honest, reflective lyrics results in soaring choruses, mature songwriting and hooks that refuse to vacate the memory. With the technical ability to self-produce to exacting standards in the studio and the musicianship to carry this on to the stage, live performances are energetic, effervescent and engaging. The musical content both challenges and entertains the listener - power balanced by harmonic subtlety and skilful touches of brilliance; confidence without arrogance. Just as the previous release, 'Beautiful Design' (Mar 2012) differed from the preceding self-titled EP (Aug 2011), 'Drift' portrays new musical horizons that move forward, never looking to repeat."
