Event: The Lamb Session - 'The Lamb Session' has recently moved a short distance from The Town Mills back to its birth-place, The Lamb Inn, 21 Winchester Street, Andover SP10 2EA. This popular free fortnightly folk music session run by Marion Wilson is friendly and inclusive, welcoming performers ranging from established and seasoned members of the local folk scene and beyond through to occasional or first time performers. Many people simply come along to listen and soak up the relaxed atmosphere. People start arriving from around 7-30pm onwards and the music kicks off at 8pm and goes on until 11-00pm or sometimes beyond. There is a break of about half an hour at 9-30 for a 'chin-wag' and any announcements. Performers and onlookers generally stay for the duration but there is no pressure to do this and people often drop in for just a while if they aren't able to make the whole evening.
