James Mitchell
James started to play acoustic finger-style guitar about 6 years ago after seeing the great Tommy Emmanuel for the first time. This Basingstoke based young musician is currently studying a Music Degree at 'The Academy Of Contemporary Music' in Guildford, where he previously graduated with an HND in guitar. James has developed his own style of playing, which is a fusion of many modern techniques. These range from hitting the guitar in different places to get an array of different percussive sounds, to experimenting with open tunings and two hand tapping techniques, which is always a crowd pleaser!
