If you fancy playing a local show and want to showcase your talents, please consider applying (application form attached). The events take place in November and December, so be quick to apply. The best acts stand a chance of winning some awesome prizes, such as free studio time (with yours truly), getting your music on digital download (iTunes, Amazon, Napster, Spotify etc) for a whole year, a band photo shoot and much more!
'Fairplay - Andover Youth Gig Series' was originally set up with the hope of boosting the profile of Andover's rising music scene. We want to tell our community just how cool our music scene really is! So if this sounds good to you, please consider entering for this great event. (...again, the application form and poster attached explains all...)
For you Facebook lovers (the majority!) please go and 'Like' us at www.facebook.com/FairplayAndover and start spreading the news!

St. Petersburg comes to St. Andrews!
This will be a concert performed a cappella by the Hermitage Ensemble from St. Petersburg: Singers from theatres and concerts of St. Petersburg - the Kirov Opera and Ballet, Maly Opera Theatre, St. Petersburg Concert and others.
The Hermitage Ensemble consists of five male soloists singing "a cappella" - that is, accompanied only by one another. They sound like a Slavic barber shop quartet one minute and the massed ranks of the Red Army the next. They are, as individuals, at home in the opera houses and concert halls of St Petersburg but the goal of their ensemble is to maintain the Russian traditions of sacred and folk music.
Seating in St. Andrews is on a first-come-first-served basis. There will be a wine bar during the interval, when CDs of some of the ensemble's performances will be for sale.
Tickets, price £15, are available on-line at www.standrewsducis.org.uk, by email from boxoffice@standrewsducis.org.uk or by phone from 01264 850360.
