Bicycle Thieves were formed in 2004 with the addition of Dr Ian as lead vocalist. Pieter, Breeds and James had been jamming together since 2002 and when Ian turned up for an audition in Breeds' Kitchen (which doubled as their rehearsal room) and belted out a great version of Roxanne (hitting all the high notes without grabbing his testicals), Bicycle Thieves were born.
